Ride Africa

Ride Africa is a gruelling 450-550km cycle challenge across one of many stunning African routes – all in aid of charity, with your final day spent with those you raised money for.

We were responsible for building and maintaining the Ride Africa brand over a three year period. Progressing the suite of marketing, support for riders, and apparel as participation grew – and budget allowed for it.

This is a very special, rewarding challenge event – yet it is very much a challenge event. Tough, painful, and seemingly impossible at times.

We created a simple, yet invigorating brand system which supports the team wherever the next route may take them.

Naomi is fantastic to work with, not only is she friendly and easy to discuss ideas with, she is efficient and goes above and beyond.

I'm new to ordering branded merchandise and such, and I wasn't sure how to go about it but Naomi helped me through the ordering process, helping me to understand the design lingo and word any ordering emails correctly. She also took the time to put me in contact with great contacts she has that we now use with great rates.

 


I can't tell you how often our Ride Africa branding and overall design gets commented on, it's stunning and we were super lucky to have such a talented designer to work with.

Charity events often feel cheap or worthy – we needed our cycle rides to have the feel of a premium travel adventure. Naomi’s Ride Africa branding delivered on that brief, and then some.

Why we wanted to work with ride africa

Ride Africa is one of the major ways that Child.org bring in sustainable sponsorship funds. It directly supports their current programs in Kenya – ensuring many children’s health and education.
