Overview
Little Inventors encourages children to think up fun, bonkers, or helpful invention ideas. Once uploaded to their website, one of their talented Makers may just make it into a real-life-object!
_
We worked closely with the Little Inventors team right at the beginning of their journey – as the company and vision was being formed.
We’ve always been inspired by Little Inventors founder Dominic Wilcox. His quirky and unique way of seeing the world, is the perfect incentive for children to want to get involved. We wanted to ensure this could be done in the best, most far reaching way possible… with a strong and recognisable core brand.
-
Little Inventors took off quickly, even during our development of the brand – with organisations (now partners) in China, Canada and beyond super keen to run their own events. A whole suite of brand, and communications were needed ASAP.
We’re pleased to say that the core brand is still standing strong, and continues to support Little Inventors’ endeavours worldwide.

Naomi stands out as a designer not only because she has got exceptional skills, but also because she’s passionate about the projects she chooses to work on.
For many designers it can simply be about doing what the client says and taking the money – but Naomi is not like them.
Through detailed discussion with us, she gave Little Inventors what we hoped for in terms of creating a visually engaging, creative brand – but also took it beyond our expectations, which set us up for the success we’ve had.
“
Having a clear brand system means that in the years after its creation we could keep the look and feel of Little Inventors consistent – always guided by the system.

Building brand recognition and communicating our creative approach has been an essential part of our growth around the world.
Naomi played an important part in that.

Why we wanted to work with little inventors
_
Being a child that was ‘did well’ or was ‘passible’ for most subjects – but LOVED and excelled at anything even remotely creative, Naomi is passionate about children’s creativity being celebrated and encouraged during those all important school years.
In the UK alone, we’ve seen a huge cut of creative-led subjects in the curriculum.
Speaking with many teachers, we know that the governments current eduction system is forcing schools to prioritise test scores, and the schools Ofsted rating. This doesn’t always allow teachers to spend the extra time they want to, with individual students who may be showing interest in, or a talent for the creative industries.
We want to do all we can to help children ‘stay creative’ and consider the creative industries as a realistic, and profitable potential for their future career.
